UK Intelligence Agency Rips WH Wiretap Allegation

On Friday, the US White House reportedly apologized to the British government after alleging that a intelligence agency in the UK spied on Donald Trump at former President Barack Obama's request. National security adviser H.R. McMaster reportedly spoke with his British counterpart following press secretary Sean Spicer's comment on Thursday over a Fox News report that said British intelligence wiretapped Trump Tower. According to a White House official, the conversation was described as "cordial," during which McMaster described Spicer's comment as "unintentional." The official added that following Spicer's comment, there were "at least two calls" from British officials to the White House.
