Bill O'Reilly Talks About Roger Ailes Death

On Thursday news broke that Roger Ailes, the founder of Fox News, had died. His friend and former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly is speaking out about the man who gave him his own show on Fox news. O'Reilly says that the "brutal hatred" Roger Ailes had to endure "killed" the man who created the Fox News empire. O'Reilly also said that Ailes' bluntness and ability to speak truth to power during his stints as an advisor to Ronald Reagan and George Bush the elder, as well as helping conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh become a star, had led to him making enemies. O'Reilly concluded by linking the rapid changes in America, brought on by technology and a changing culture, and how this fed into increased hatred for people like Ailes.
